MICHAELA HAMMOND
Michaela Hammond is co-founder and CEO of OffBall. She is a sports industry veteran who has spent her career at the intersection of sports and culture. Before starting OffBall, she managed top NBA athletes Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Paul Pierce, and Isaiah Thomas at representation agency Excel Sports Management and during that time helped launch The Players’ Tribune in 2014. She went on to lead the sports and culture division at Upland Workshop, a boutique advisory leading business transformation strategies across sports including for clients LeBron James and The Springhill Company, Mat Ishbia’s Player 15 Group, Maria Sharapova, F1 Miami, TGL’s The Bay Golf Club, and Relevent Sports Group. Additionally, Hammond was a critical member of LeBron James’ More Than A Vote organization in 2020 and 2024 and part of the cohort that successfully fought to change the Washington Commanders’ name in 2020.
