JUNIOR MORAES
Aluisio Chaves Ribeiro Moraes Junior, known as Junior Moraes, was born on April 4, 1987, in Santos, Brazil, and has football in his DNA. He is the son of Aluisio Moraes, a striker who made his mark in the 1980s playing for Santos FC, and the brother of Bruno Moraes, who won the Brazilian Championship with Santos in 2002 and the UEFA Champions League with FC Porto in 2003/04. Junior grew up in a family of athletes, where football was more than a career it was a legacy.
At just 19 years old, he lived a historic moment: scoring the goal that secured the 2007 São Paulo State Championship for Santos FC, in front of over 60,000 fans, a moment that forever etched his name in the club’s history.
His international career included standout performances for Dynamo Kyiv, Shakhtar Donetsk, Corinthians, and even the Ukrainian national team, the country he embraced as home. At Shakhtar, he was the top Brazilian scorer in Europe in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons, becoming one of the all-time top scorers in Ukrainian football history.
After retiring from professional football, Junior found a new purpose: mentoring athletes on how to build successful careers and balanced lives. His achievements on and off the pitch gave him the authority to guide high-performance players, helping them grow not only technically, but also mentally, emotionally, and strategically.
Today, Junior is a keynote speaker, high-performance mentor, and the International Relations Director at 94 Marketing & Football, an agency specialized in sports marketing, events, and premium football experiences that connects brands, athletes, and projects with authenticity and purpose. With a trajectory shaped by international success, discipline, and strategic vision, Junior now leads initiatives that extend football’s impact beyond the field, helping shape careers, elevate brands, and inspire a new generation of athletes.
