JEFF SHAFER

Jeff Shafer is Chief Communications Officer and Senior Vice President of the Corporate Marketing Group at Lenovo, where he oversees global corporate communications and brand strategy initiatives. With over 30 years of experience in the communications and marketing field, Jeff has played a pivotal role in shaping Lenovo's public image and driving its marketing efforts. The role includes corporate communications, global brand strategy and creative, global social media strategy and execution, global strategic events and partnerships (including the company's new FIFA/World Cup partnership), CEO and CTO communications, and other key strategic initiatives.

Jeff graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1993 and has since built a distinguished career. His diverse background has included key leadership roles at organizations ranging from global Fortune 250 corporations to technology startups, and from the world's largest communications agencies to some of its most interesting and unique universities.

His leadership and innovative strategies have significantly contributed to Lenovo's status as the world's top-selling PC maker, and its emergence as a $60+ billion global technology powerhouse with the most extensive pocket-to-cloud technology portfolio in the world.
