ERIK STOVER
Erik Stover is a sports and entertainment executive with more than 25 years of experience leading professional teams, developing major venues, and building globally recognized brands. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the New York Cosmos, where he is helping lead the club’s modern revival in North Jersey, centered around community engagement, player development, and long-term sustainable growth.
Stover previously served as Managing Director of the New York Red Bulls, where he oversaw the development and launch of Red Bull Arena and helped transform the club’s competitive and commercial trajectory, including the signing of global icon Thierry Henry. He later became Chief Operating Officer of the New York Cosmos, guiding the organization to three NASL championships and expanding its international presence through global tours.
His broader experience includes serving as Managing Director of Match IQ USA, representing leading international clubs in North America, and consulting on the redevelopment of Hinchliffe Stadium, a National Historic Landmark that now anchors the Cosmos’ return.
