KACEY WHITE
Kacey White, a former U.S. Women's National Team midfielder and 2008 Olympic alternate, is a match analyst for MLS on Apple TV, joining the broadcast team in 2025. Since 2019, she has served as a match analyst for the NWSL and has been an analyst for ESPN since 2022. White combines elite playing experience, top-level coaching credentials, and more than two decades of experience across the global soccer landscape.
A standout at the University of North Carolina, White helped lead the Tar Heels to the 2003 NCAA National Championship. She finished her collegiate career as a two-time All-American and remains among the program's all-time leaders in assists. Professionally, she played from 2006–2012, including successful stints with Sweden's Bälinge IF and AIK in the Damallsvenskan before joining Women's Professional Soccer, where she helped Sky Blue FC capture the 2009 WPS Championship.
Internationally, White earned 18 caps with the U.S. Women's National Team between 2006 and 2010, won the 2005 Nordic Cup with the U.S. U-21 National Team, and was an alternate on the gold medal-winning U.S. squad at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
After retiring from professional play, White built an accomplished coaching career at the youth, collegiate, and national team levels. She served as an assistant coach at Texas Tech, SMU, and Oklahoma before becoming head coach at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay in 2014, where she led the program to its best season in more than two decades. From 2015–2018, she coached multiple U.S. Girls' National Teams, including serving as head coach of the U.S. U-16 Girls National Team.
White holds both a UEFA A License (Football Association of Wales) and a U.S. Soccer A License, two of the highest coaching certifications in the sport, reflecting her deep expertise in player development, tactics, and the global game.
