EVAN DABBY
Evan Dabby leads New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS) with a vision for growth, inclusion, and sustainable youth development. With more than 16 years of experience in the Major League Soccer league office, where he held leadership roles in game operations, stadium operations, supporter relations, safety, team travel, and sports medicine, Evan brings a deep understanding of soccer operations and stakeholder coordination to NJYS.
A native of Tenafly, New Jersey, Evan played at Tenafly High (earning all-state honors as captain), then continued his soccer career at Tufts University, where he captained the team and earned All-New England honors. He holds a graduate degree in sports management from New York University.
Since joining NJYS in 2014, Evan has overseen the expansion of NJYS’s recreational, competitive, and developmental programs, while championing initiatives for equity, safe sport, and greater access for players of all abilities (including TOPSoccer). He also serves as President of the United States Consortium of State Associations (USCSA), working to align and enhance youth soccer operations across multiple state associations.
Evan and his wife Kira reside in Freehold, New Jersey, where they raise their two children and he continues to play and contribute to the local soccer community.
